Join us for our first 5 day/4 night Trauma/EMDR retreat.
Welcome to Courage to Heal—our very first Trauma Retreat created exclusively for women ready to reclaim their power after past trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, or domestic violence. This immersive experience is thoughtfully designed to help you heal, rebuild, and thrive.
While you are here, you will be in a supportive and nurturing environment. EMDR is included with this 5 day/4 night retreat for anyone who wants deeper healing. EMDR is optional.
At this retreat, you will experience guided sessions, along with group discussions and personal reflection. You will leave feeling empowered, refreshed, and ready to take charge of your well-being with confidence and grace.

Meet Your Retreat Hosts!
Kimberly Shultz, LPC-MHSP
Kimberly is a Licensed professional counselor. Kimberly has been working in the mental health field for over 18 years. Kimberly owns Kimberly Shultz Counseling in Franklin, Tennessee and started Serenity Nature Retreats in 2023 after a vision she received from the Lord in 2010.
Kimberly provides individual, couples, and group therapy. Kimberly specializes in Grief, anxiety, trauma and PTSD.
In her spare time, she loves traveling, relaxing, and spending time with her family and dogs. She has been happily married for 23 years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Nicole Meadows, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in trauma and complex trauma treatment. With nearly a decade of clinical experience in outpatient psychotherapy, Nicole provides evidence-based, client-centered care to children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical practice is grounded in advanced trauma modalities, including EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches, allowing her to tailor treatment to the individual needs of each client.
Nicole’s professional background spans private practice, inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, and child advocacy work. She has extensive experience working with survivors of severe abuse, individuals in crisis, and veterans coping with combat-related trauma.
She is dedicated to fostering healing, resilience, and personal growth for individuals impacted by trauma and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can rebuild their sense of strength and identity.
